Common fears I’ve noticed that clients have prior to having a QHHT session

During the course of my career as a QHHT practitioner I have noticed that there are some common fears and misconceptions about utilizing hypnosis for regression therapy. It is easy to understand why these fears and misconceptions exist but at the same time it is also easy to look past these things and have a really great QHHT session.

One of these common fears that I have noticed is that clients sometimes think that they are being punished in their current for at one time being a really horrible person in another life. It makes logical sense, however if this were true then the wheel or karma would keep spinning and the same horrible events would keep on playing over and over again. For instance if someone were to have caused the death of another in a past life either purposely or not then logically it would make sense for them to lose their life in the same type of way. Looking at this a little deeper it would seem that this would keep occurring on repeat. Instead what would happen would be an event where the person who caused the death of another in a past life would have to come back perhaps take care of another human being, so that they could learn the value of life and being here incarnated. This is what the Subconscious calls the “soft way”. This happens to teach lessons and also to stop the perpetuation of death in this manner. It stops the cycle to speak.

I have not seen any client thus far who has been a terrible person in a past life. I have seen things that they perhaps would not want to repeat and at the same time your subconscious loves you and protects you. It will never give you more than you can handle. Another thing that is important to remember is that we as the incarnating soul choose our life and our experiences. We choose life experiences and scenarios to teach us our lessons, to learn about the human condition, and assist those souls around us who are in our life.

Another common fear I have seen is the fear of the unknown and not knowing what to expect. I can say that I never know where a person is going to regress to whether or not is a past life, a current life, or the time period in which you will be in but I do know it will be exactly what you are meant to see. The subconscious picks the lifetime to show you based upon its own wisdom, which is much greater than our known. This is why I always tell my clients I have no idea where you are going to go however it is going to be the most appropriate time and place based on your intention for the session and the patterns that are playing out in your current life. The subconscious will always explain to you why they picked the life they picked when we speak to it directly. It is not always obvious from the lifetime you are shown during your session but there is always supreme intelligence behind what you see. So I will always tell my clients the subconscious picks the lifetime, you are viewing the lifetime and talking to me about you are seeing and I am asking you questions based on what you are reporting back to me. The more you talk about what you see the more questions we can ask and the deeper you will go in your regression.

Truthfully then all sessions are unknown prior to going through them. The best way to prepare for this is to have an open mind and talk about you are seeing in your session in great detail, most importantly always say the first thing that comes to mind. It will all make sense by the end of the session and make even more sense when you listen to your recording.

Another fear I see is a feeling of not wanting to fully let go because the person likes being in control or because on some level the client thinks they cannot be hypnotized. A way to let go of control is to know that it is your own subconscious that is guiding the session. This is not stage hypnosis or hypnosis you see on TV, you won’t be asked to cluck like a chicken or stare at a spinning object. All we are doing is taking advantage of naturally occurring brain wave states that everyone goes in and out of every day. The state that a person goes into right before falling asleep is called Theta and that is how I know everyone can be hypnotized. You are already going in and out of this state at least twice a day, when you fall asleep at night and wake up in the morning everyone passes in and out of theta. So I always tell my clients to let their inner wisdom guide them and to just the process occur as it already does naturally happen twice a day. The only difference here is that I as the practitioner will catch you in Theta and you will be able to talk about you are seeing like having a dream and being able to talk about it in real time. Also remember it’s not about giving up control as much as it is about trust. Trust your subconscious/higher self and let it guide you. It is still you just a higher form of yourself, in this way you are not giving up control.

These are just a few the common fears or misconceptions I have seen during my time working as a QHHT practitioner. However in seeing the changes my clients have been able to make it their lives and the healing that takes place, I would say that fear completely subsides when you allow your session to take place. The subconscious will you give a wonderful gift and all you have to do is accept it. Whether it is healing the physical body and/or letting go out of old emotions or habits, and/or getting answers to questions- all will be done for you in your session.
